Reflexology in Eastbourne
An effective way to manage stress and improve your overall health and wellbeing
Hello and welcome to Reflexology Eastbourne. I'm Siobhan and I am a fully insured, qualified reflexologist and a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR).
I have further qualifications in the following areas:
- Maternity Reflexology - supporting clients at all stages of pregnancy.
- Reproductive Reflexology - supporting clients that are trying to conceive both naturally and assisted.
- Mindful Reflexology - which specifically supports clients suffering with stress, anxiety and depression.
- Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) -originally developed to support clients with lymphoedema following cancer treatment, but also supports general immune function including autoimmune conditions.
- Gentle Release Therapy - a unique treatment which I have used with all client groups and is particularly helpful in releasing stress and tension held more deeply in the body.
You may have found your way here because you'd like to try reflexology for the first time, maybe because you are suffering with physical or emotional symptoms that you cannot seem to clear.
You may have had reflexology before but are wondering if it could help with symptoms you are experiencing right now.
Maybe you are looking for a new method of stress relief, or maybe you just want to treat yourself to an enjoyable experience and deep relaxation.
Common reasons for seeking reflexology are:
- stress, anxiety and depression
- hormone imbalances and reproductive issues
- symptoms related to maternity, pre natal or post natal
- sleep problems
- physical discomfort such as shoulder or back pain
- feeling generally run down or low in energy
Reflexology works at a personal and individual level, it can work differently for everyone at different times, so the best thing you can do is give it a try! To read more about reflexology see here.
There is growing evidence and acceptance that a large proportion of illness can at least in part be attributed to stress. Many traditional doctors are turning to a more lifestyle based approach to treating and preventing illness; with diet, exercise, sleep and stress management being the main focus.
The stress response from daily life can leave us on almost constant high alert and this changes the physiology and functioning of the systems in our body. This means that we are not performing at our best mentally and physically, and over a period of time this can lead to more serious health problems. Managing our stress levels is a major factor in managing and supporting our health.
I work from a therapy room moments from Eastbourne station, which makes it easily accessible from surrounding areas in East Sussex.
